I graduated General Economics Faculty of University of National and World Economy in Sofia in 1982. My main specialty is political economy. In 1987 I finished a pedagogical course within Military Academy “G.S.Rakovski”, Sofia city. I have worked in high education system since 1983 year. From 1983 year, due to successful exam, to 2000 year I was worked as head assistant within the Humanities department of the High Navy Institute “N. J. Vaptcarov”, Varna city. In April 2000 I finished my education in PhD in University of National and World Economy, Sofia. Since December 2001, I have been an associate professor at the Varna Free University of Economics and Management. 2006 – After the procedure in the Supreme Attestation Commission under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria was elected as regular Associate Professor of political economy. Now, I work as an Associate Professor in Economics in the Faculty of International Economy and Administration of the Varna Free University “Tchernorizec Hrabar”, Varna city, Bulgaria.

Writing Urban Places proposes an innovative investigation and implementation of a process for developing human understanding of communities, their society, and their situatedness, by narrative methods. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
