Call for participation in PhD training school

Urban Chronicles in Empirical Context

The Training School Urban Chronicles in Empirical Context will take place on 26-28 April 2022 in Osijek, Croatia and the participants will engage in lectures on space in literature, city walks, analysis of local urban chronicles and discussion workshops as well as creative workshops. The host institution Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Osijek offers a three-day training school from the literature and cultural identity perspective with a theoretical and practical (fieldwork and methodology included) approach to be organized within the Osijek doctoral programme “Literature and Cultural Identity”. 


Participation for local and international doctoral candidates is free of charge and financial support for travel and accommodation of international trainees is available. Applications by doctoral candidates from the countries participating in the COST Action CA18126 Writing Urban Places are highly encouraged.
