Elizabeth Olegário is currently a PhD student in Portuguese Studies: Area of Specialization: Book History and Textual Criticism, at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, New Univesity of Lisbon (NOVA FCSH). She holds a scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology, Portugal – FCT/PT (SFRH/BD/145768/2019). Is a Integrated Researcher at CHAM ( Center for the Humanities) and member of Research Group on Reading and Forms of Writing the Humanities Center of the New University of Lisbon (CHAM NOVA FCSH).She has a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Cultures from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). She is a writer, poet and literary critic. Has texts published in the newspaper Le Mondd Diplomatique – Portuguese Edition ( Portugal),newspaper of the Quelimane Fair (Zambézia/Mozambique), newspaper A União, from Paraíba (Paraíba/Brazil), Potiguar Notícias Newspaper (Natal/Brazil), Saiba Mais Newspaper(Natal/Brazil), literary supplement Correio das Artes (Paraíba/Brazil), Gerador Magazine (Portugal), InComunidade Magazine(Portugal) among others. Participated in the Maputo Book Fair (2022), 1st and 2nd Quelimane Book Fair – Zambézia/Mozambique (2021 and 2022) among others.

Writing Urban Places proposes an innovative investigation and implementation of a process for developing human understanding of communities, their society, and their situatedness, by narrative methods. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
