Konstantinos Ioannidis is an architect, graduate (Dipl. Engineering) of Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. He received a MSc. in Cultural Management from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens and his Doctoral Degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He did his Postdoctoral research at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the field of Architecture and Postdigital Humanities. He has participated in conferences and workshops in Europe, Canada, USA, South Korea and Japan and his research work has been published in various international journals. His main area of research is the study of the syntactic and configurative concepts within generative systems for the process and thinking of architectural design and the interaction between different symbolic means in the production of the spatial form. He is the co-founder of the Norwegian studio aaiko arkitekter, a Stavanger-based award winning architecture practice with interest in projects that escape from the comfort of normative. Design projects of the office have been widely presented in architectural exhibitions in Greece and along Scandinavia. He is currently an assistant professor at the school of architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.  kioannidis@arch.auth.gr
