Kübra Sağlam is an architect and a researcher in Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) in Trabzon, Turkey. She received her B.Arch in 2012, MSc. in 2019 in Architecture. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Architecture, Karadeniz Technical University. Her primary research interests include architectural theory, literary theory for architecture. The analytical frame of her work is especially on narratives. She is focusing on relationship between architecture and literary using different methods, based on experience of city/place, such as etnography and mapping. She participates at international/national interdisciplinary workshops related with architecture. Writing Urban Places proposes an innovative investigation and implementation of a process for developing human understanding of communities, their society, and their situatedness, by narrative methods. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
