Mathilde Merolli holds a master’s degree in comparative literature from the University of Copenhagen. She works as a communications officer in the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Copenhagen, disseminating research within the fields of natural resources, global development, agriculture and more. She has a strong interest in climate issues and global development, building on her background in NGO communication. Mathilde is interested in storytelling, particularly the intersection between narrative and poetic devices and strategic communication.

Writing Urban Places proposes an innovative investigation and implementation of a process for developing human understanding of communities, their society, and their situatedness, by narrative methods. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
