Musa Yavuz Alptekin, (Ph.D.) is Associate Professor in Department of Sociology, Faculty of Literature, Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon/TURKEY. He has Ph.D. degree from Istanbul University (2006) and has been working in KTU for 15 years. His expertise areas are urban studies and political sociology. He has seven published books in Turkish and about fifty article in Turkish/English. Currently he has been conducting three editorial books on urban sociology, political sociology and economical sociology. Last two of them has been completed and in publish. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
