Yordanka Angelova Stoyanova-Toneva was born on March 11, 1970.
She has a Master’s degree in History from the Faculty of History of the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”- Veliko Tarnovo. In the period 1992 – 2000 she worked consecutively in the branch of the Archaeological Institute of BAS – Shumen and in Regional Library “St.
Chilingirov”- Shumen.

In 2000, after a competition in “New and Recent Common History”, she was appointed an assistant at VFU “Ch. Hrabar”- the city of Varna. In 2015 he defended his doctoral dissertation. Since 2008 she has been a lecturer in “History of the Bulgarian State and Law” at the Faculty of Law of VFU “Ch. Brave. She is the author of over 50 publications on the problems of the new and recent common and Balkan history.
From 2022, she is an associate professor of National Security at VSU “Ch. Hrabar”, Vsrna – Bulgaria.
