Call – Interim Uses Survey, Barreiro (Portugal)

Action member Pablo Costa has launched a survey as part of his PhD research on urbanism (FA-ULisboa). The aim is to evaluate temporary intervention scenarios and proposals for interim uses (a topic he also developed with a Writing Urban Places STSM grant: https://writingurbanplaces.eu/wup-news/short-term-scientific-mission-notes-on-places-movement-and-images/) for 3 abandoned spaces in the city of Barreiro – a shrinking city in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area near Almada (WUP meeting 2019) with a very rich industrial past.
Anyone who knows the city (or is interested in the topic) is welcome to participate, as a way of (re)thinking the city and promoting community participation in city planning through a scenario-elicitation exercise.

The survey is in Portuguese, and is available here: https://form.jotform.com/200661920835049
