XII SIIU Conference, Sao Paulo and Lisboa

Our colleagues from the SIIA (International Seminar on Urbanism Research) have sent us their call for the twelfth edition of the International Research Seminar on Urbanism 2020 – XII SIIU São Paulo/Lisbon -, which will be held on June 15, 16 and 17, 2020 in São Paulo (Mackenzie Presbyterian University) and on June 25 and 26, 2020 in Lisbon (Lisbon School of Architecture, University of Lisbon).

Submission of proposals is before December 3, 2019 (both venues).

Writing Urban Places proposes an innovative investigation and implementation of a process for developing human understanding of communities, their society, and their situatedness, by narrative methods. It particularly focuses on the potential of narrative methods for urban development in European medium-sized cities.
